It simply doesn't carry as much emotional weight as the other scenes and is over really quick. Nothing more. Actually, I like when he motions, 'Hey, I'm the man, right? I sure told Sears', she pushes him in the water, and he decides to take her down with him, better than the final part.

But look at Dylan lighten up in that first cap!

I was going to put the "whole" scene in the caps but felt lazy

I prefer it when she pulls him along holding hands
