I liked this season, the music was certainly better Plus I feel like all the characters started getting storylines I love Kelly/Jake.

Halfway through this season was when the gang truly started forming. David was finally getting included in events. The "camping trip" was one of the major turning points in my opinion.

Yeah season 2 was definitly the season where everyone got involved. In season one it was mainly Brandon and Brenda storylinews.

I think they weren't quite sure how Scott fit into things and once he died, David gravitated towards the gang. He really didn't have anyone when that happened. It's very sweet how we lay the foundation of the Donna/David relationship this season as well.

But David/Scott had a pretty broken relationship in S2 as it was, David grew up & apart from Scott.

Yeah, I remember when we were first introduced to David, he was sort of the nerdy kid trying to fit in with the cool crowd. Then after Scott died he lost that nerdy style and became more like the rest of the gang.

Yeah Donna and David were definitly sweet in this season.



EDIT- Yeah Scott was still more like a nerdy kid in season 2 and David definitly grew up in that season.

Yeah, Scott didn't fit in with the gang.

But I liked his character.

I love Dd/D in S2 They were my favourite part I think.

Poor Scott, I loved that storyline too.

True, David was the nerdy kid trying to fit in. He always had it in him to be cool. I like how Steve took to him at the beginning that was sweet.

I think David "got under Steve's skin" if you will, at first Steve wanted David to leave him alone, but after awhile they became good friends.

David really changes throughout the series. He is very eager, dorky, horny, and hyper active early on in the series. I like the transformation we begin to see when Scott dies. He really shows emotion and Brian's performance when the gun goes off and then again in the radio booth proves what lengths he can reach as an actor. That he really could own those scenes and we could feel everything he was going through.

David does get under Steve's skin, but Steve was one of the first, along with Donna to truly accept David as part of the gang.

I aggree completley! I think after the scene in the radio boothe the gang really started to see David in a new light. Instead of the nerdy kid trying to fit in. they saw him as the boy who just wanted toi have friends, a boy who wanted to be loved and cared for.
