This is one of those points in a show that I just felt totally disconnected from everything that was playing out on screen.
Once I realized that Jason was just phoning it in until his last episode was approaching, it took away any reason to keep watching because the show doesn't work without the Walsh family. It just doesn't. It becomes one of those glamorized, rich kids galore shows without any relatable people. Dylan coming back had no effect on me, because he already had closure in season 6 and anything beyond that was just a desperate attempt to reclaim ratings.  __________________

^ A time where writers didn't fear scripting male characters saying mean things to girls. If you said that now in a show, there would be major repercussions or Steve would be written as deeply ashamed.

It's a shame that they basically used Gina as a prop for reuniting Dylan and Kelly.
Kinda how they used Val in season 5 to tease the same thing. __________________

Yup, by that time show was reduced to recycling old SLs over and over. I mean, it was like that from S5 onwards already.
