I did think Dylan's storyline in the latter end of S5 was just plain stupid

You could tell that the writers were struggling for a consistent story line for him around that point and going in to season 6. Probably because they had to quickly round things up in time for Luke's exit

Apart from BK and Dylan/Valerie moments, I actually didn't enjoy S5 that much due to some ridiculous storylines. This particular season was particularly good though

It's weird because although I love BK in S5, I didn't enjoy S5 that much yet definitely enjoyed S6 and no BK which is even weirder for me

Season 6 was good in terms of how they resolved the Ray storyline.
Plus, Kelly's emotional downfall was probably a long time coming (Season 5 proved how vulnerable she was with the whole Finley thing.) But I'm still not happy that Dylan got a tragic exit rather than just allowing him to go off happy with Toni  __________________

Coke Kelly was my favorite S6 storyline but I liked Dylan/Toni and Brandon/Susan and definitely the start of Steve/Clare. I thought it was a very good season. And oh yes, I loved crazy Tara too
