Thanks for starting.

They certainly did. This gets me wondering what kind of relationship Nikki might have had with Brandon's parents. It would be kind of funny to see Jim giving her all of that tough love. Oh, well...I'm sure that in the end, she'd feel like part of the family.

The explanation for why Nikki left made sense, but they also could've said that her family wasn't ready for her to come back yet. Then the Walshes could've become a sort of second family.

Good point, James. Also, I always thought the Walshes were a second family to Dylan and Kelly. Of course, the Walsh House was a second home to practically all of them.

^ Yeah, that was definitely one of the main running themes of early on in the series: I guess an intact family like the Walshes, who were practically 'normal', was a rare event in BH.

Also compared to the other families, to me, Jim and Cindy were the least problematic. They almost never have any problems. To me, the Walshes were the ideal family with room to expand.

^I agree...they kinda had the perfect marriage. I'm surprised Cindy got pregnant only once but maybe they just took family planning way too seriously

I thought it was cute that they were thinking about having another baby in S1 when Brandon was taking care of Joey...then again in S5.

Okay, "Midlife ... Now What?" is like the best episode ever. Speaking of the parents ...

(And, on a side note, Brandon is kinda drunk-happy/loopy throughout, lol.)

Seriously, though! You should re-watch. He has like a new nickname for everybody, and a constant smirk. Oh, and an Irish accent for one delivery.

It's strange what sticks in your head sometimes. Right now it's when David tells Dylan at the Pit that Erin "misses her Mama", and he old-guy winces and says, "What about her 'Dada'?" Also, Jackie is awesome. And I love how Jim's client is also the author of the 'Midlife' book that him and Cindy happen to both be reading.

Nice seeing bits of those old promos. My favourite S3 episode is "The Back Story" (because of Brandon and Nikki). My second favourite is "Commencement."

I'm wondering how many shows were inspired by this one. I know there was a beach show on CBS with Drew Barrymore, 2000 Malibu Road, though I don't know if that was directly inspired by Beverly Hills, 90210. I also remember when Dawson's Creek came along much later. I'm kind of surprised that there weren't more shows like this one during S3.
