Good idea. I was imagining 10-15 episode threads permanently at the bottom of the ocean.

I just read this in the May 8th, 1993 issue of TV Guide:

"Aaron Spelling decided more than a year ago that this was it -- the last season he could detain his twentysomething cast in Hot Tub High. 'We didn't want to be like Happy Days and keep the kids in school for years', he says. So on May 19th, the caps and gowns come off, though some characters - including Tori Spelling's - face summer school."

... or not.

Mel, why are you reading old TV Guides?

So what is everyones favourite episode from Season 3?

Mine is 'A Night to Remember' & 'Commencement' For the obvious Dy/K reasons and just because the gang seemed more "together" in these episodes.

I loved the end of Commencement, it was such a good ending for their years at Highschool, such a fitting ending, and I have no doubt in my mind it was all Steves Idea to do the 'W BEV HI 93'

Any favourite moments of Season 3 too? Storylines?

I hate Brandon's gambling storyline and his relationship with Brooke she was the most hated girfriend for me, Brooke the Bigot.

Take a wild Dylan/Kelly-related guess. I'm so distracted, too.

Don't we know it is? From the beginning scene? He just had to consult with Donna about the design (as if letter styling was even an option).

God, I loved everything about S3. Granted, yeah, not the gambling storyline so much cause "Duke" was such a cartoonish character, but the show was really healthy and alive this year. One of the more noteworthy things for me (which continued pretty well in S4) is just that Brandon and Steve's locker/campus-walking conversations were at their best. Those little moments that we never talk about or cap.

Season 3 was my all-time favourite season!! Every episode was entertaining and fresh! All the characters had established where they fit in and the audience was able to now sit back and enjoy them instead of the still 'getting to know them' phase.

My favourite episode was Senior Poll. Not just coz I am a HUGE D/K fan, but I also really enjoyed the scenes when Brandon and Steve go to the basketball game and Steve kepts telling Brandon that he is definately sitting next to his mother Thought it was hilarious.

I also really enjoyed the summer episodes and actually really liked the whole Paris storylines. It really showed how both Donna and Brenda matured and became independent.

I agree with Courtz, I hated Brooke too! She was always so judgemental

This show was so much funnier than I think it ever got credit for. Especially in S3! They didn't have as many social issue-oriented eps and it was more about the personalities of the gang brushing up against each other. You could take any 2 out of the 8 and they'd be comfortable affectionately teasing each other. They were in a more divided state before and now David/Donna had the screen time to develop their relationship.

"Anyone for fruitcups?"
"Yeah Brandon, your mum made "fruitcups"

I love Steve's whole attitude during this, especially when they were waiting for Jim & Cindy to go to the game, and when they were in the car on their "shortcut".

Comedy gold.

The "two seconds" bit is comedy gold! It involves Brenda, Brandon, Steve, Jim, and Cindy and is just ... so damn 90210.

J: I'm almost ready. Just give me two seconds.
B: Dad, can I talk to you for two seconds?
J: Cindy, can you come up here for two seconds?
C: I'll just be two seconds.
S: Two seconds! Two seconds. What is that, like, Walsh Time for an eternity?

... or something like that.

Man, Steve was so funny during this episode, I loved how even though he made Brandon sit next to his mum and made Brandon get the lucky seat he still pinched it off him anyway Like he needed more money I loved how we got a close up of that one lady fan (Mel did you notice it was Whipper from Ally McBeal?) and thats it? What was with her anyway?

"YAY, oh yay"

Ok, I'm done

The "lady fan" you speak of was actually Jennifer Grant's (aka., Celeste) mother, Dylan Cannon. Also, "Whipper". She was involved with Cary Grant, who's Jennifer's father.

Ha! And notice, this was just an episode after Celeste was introduced.

Dylan Cannon or Diane Cannon?

By the way, I LOVE "Senior Poll"!!
Fist of all b/c of Kelly and Dylan, but I also love the Steve-plot.

Season 3 is my fave Season too, followed by 2! I love the storylines, I love K/D, I love Jack McKay...

Whoops! I meant "Dyan Cannon".

Jack McKay definitely made S3 for me.

Yeah for me too.
I really don't know why, but I think I had a little mini-crush on Josh Taylor or something like that *lol*

I love the chemistry between him and Luke!
And he was really pleasant... as Jack McKay.
I loved him
