3) Is it true that Brandon said to Kelly when she was in hospital (S8) "losing you once was hard enough"? I'm asking because I don't think I've ever really seen those eps with her in hospital. And because it would make a great future title.

I remember hearing it ages ago in Footloose and totally ing it. Now I hear it and think "that's SO BK!" I mean it's totally how he felt about her; she was the girl who came into his life and completed it.

Oooh right!! I forgot the transcript again.. Sorry.. But here it is. But I'm not sure if it's exactly what's being said..

Kelly : I've been thinking about you
(Brandon looks at her)
Kelly: I'm starting to remember things.. I just sort of get them mixed up with who you are now.
Brandon: I've been remembering you too. When you were lying there in the hospital I'd look at you, and things would just kinda hit me.
Kelly: Like what?
Brandon: Little things. Like how you would hang your socks in the shower to dry.. First time we danced.
Kelly: When was that?
Brandon: It was a High School dance. See, I don't dance, so you dragged me onto the dance floor. We were just friends then, but I put my arms around you. I even remember what song was playing.

Brandon takes her hand, and they stand up and start slow dancing

Brandon: See, we didn't really dance, we just kinda.. Stood there. Like this.

Brandon moves closer to her

Kelly: Like this?
Brandon: Mhm..
Kelly place her arms around him and the scene fades

It's sad, but it was the pain of her not remembering that prompted Brandon to need to make her remember. I kind of liked that, the two of them reliving that moment.

...Even if it WASN'T the same song playing. Did the writers just... forget, or something?

Oh yeah, me too definitely I just find it hilarious that Brandon mentions remembering both the first dance and the song that was playing, then they get up and dance and it's not the same song. lol.

Umm... I think they had him say "I love you" to Emily... But as I recall, it was the most emotionless I love you I've ever heard on tv. Whereas every time he said "I love you" to Kelly, I always could tell he really meant it.
