Nice new thread.
For anyone who liked Kelly's relationship with the Walsh family (which I did), there's been some new coverage of it recently over in the encyclopedia. I'm hoping we'll chronicle as much as possible. This image is rather simple, but sort of displays how she always spent time with the family before eventually living at the Walsh house. I wish they'd have her call or mention Jim and Cindy in the spin-off. |

The Walsh house was definitely the refuge of the disenfranchised of 90210. Steve was the same way, and Donna (to a lesser extent since she never actually lived there). We saw them at the Walsh house more than we saw them at their own homes; it's all part of making a cohesive group. If they were hanging out, the house was a popular spot, and then Jim and Cindy tended to be the surrogate parents for the whole group, stepping up as needed for various crises. And I was fine with them hanging out there the most, because it was definitely the house with the most 'homey' feel to it. It looked warm and comfortable. Not too bright, not too dark, not too big, not too small. It just seemed like a place where people would want to congregate.
