Yeah, except for the placement of the hats themselves, it would look completely real.

Aw, the shot where Luke is pretending to bite Shannen's head … my friend in 6th grade had that poster on her wall even though she wasn't much of a fan, but it made me feel like she was and we had the show in common.

I love seeing something full-length for the first time in decades. They sure had a lot of more planned out shoots. I'm still unsure of the concept behind the boys in the laundry bin with Marx Bros glasses on.

Well, I guess they wanted to combine retro concept of the show with comedy. The show was referring mainly to '50s, but used a lot of nostalgia for other decades. Therefore Marx Brothers (also, Brandon, Brenda and Dylan watched Animal Crackers by Marx Brothers together). Shannen is dressed like Liz Tazylor or Audrey Hapburn. I am not sure why they are in the laundry though.

Oh yeah, maybe that is supposed to be Liz Taylor. I thought about the 1x10 reference. They would have to be given a lot of credit for that. Either those masks were just like the go-to prop for goofiness or, if they were thoughtful enough to incorporate the laundry bins as a reference to Brandon's work at the Beverly Hills Beach Club, then maybe ... I can see them playing around with the show's retro flairs.

Yes, but I guess it is not complicated actually. They just wanted to do a retro reference and connect it with the show nostalgic vibe, but also add some goofiness. I guess Marx brothers are one of the first associations in that sense. Just like the writers came up with Animal Crackers for that episode. I don't think those two are intentionally connected, but I can see how logic would be the same.

Beach Club would be a bit too much, I guess
