HOWEVER I just can't deal with how much more supportive Jim appears to be toward Dylan at times when he and Brenda are separated.

He just comes across as so mean and typically relived that DB aren't together anymore so he'll finally start to treat Dylan with some respect.

I mean, this is the same guy who warned Brenda and Brandon to stay away from Dylan because he judged him just by the widespread knowledge of his father's dodgy business deals. To speak kindly to Dylan about his dad in spite of that just seems so two-faced of him.

Having said that, I did love the little moment when Brenda came out in the garden and Brandon & Dylan shared that knowing smirk.

Their connection was at its strongest in scenes like that.

It was hypocritical, but to me not so much because of Jack, but because Dylan indeed hurt his daughter pretty badly. He was supposedly worried Dylan would do so while Dylan was actually great, and when he did, he treated him never better, and never even mentioned that. Even before Jack died. Jeebus.

Dylan was so rattled about the Brenda/ Stuart thing. Try as they did to push Dylan/Kelly in season 4, there's no way he didn't still love Brenda.

I also find it super cool that Brandon was constantly confiding in Dylan about his worries with regard to Brenda/Stuart, although Dylan did not feel the most comfortable with it. It was the most logical to talk to him, given how close he was to both of them, so Brandon just cut the crap, despite the awkwardness of the situation
