Btw, I know this has been asked before, but for those who haven't answered it Do you think Kelly and Val can be friends, I mean, real friends, someday?

I think Kelly and Val could be real friends. But I just don't see them as close as Brenda/Kelly or Kelly/Donna. Both Kelly and Val could be married with children and they could still get into an argument about the past. Because to me, their past is unavoidable. A perfect example would be in 9x07, Val's last episode. Kelly and Val are packing up Brandon's stuff. For once, they are getting along great. Then Kelly finds a card that Val gave to Brandon telling Brandon not to marry Kelly. Just like that, they're enemies again. But I think Val are sincerely sorry. So, they can't stay close for too long before getting on each other's nerves. But I think it's possible for them to be "friends" like Shannen and Jennie are now "friends."

That's something that crossed my mind too I think if both of them are in a happy place now, they could become friends eventually. Not in the same Donna/Kelly way,but close enough to not be bitter about the past.

I think they got along pretty well in the finale. Of course, I don't think Val had many lines in that.


Kelly: "Who am I to blame Valerie for sleeping around? Let she who is not sinned cast the first stone. I've sinned just as much as anybody. I slept with my best friend's boyfriend. I slept with my boyfriend's best friend. I hope at least God can forgive me."




Valerie: "Listen God, if you're up there. I don't ask for a lot. I just need friends like everybody else. And I always seem to screw them up. Maybe you could help me out. And while you're at it, could you look out for Donna? Your sweetest lamb hasn't figure out that when her boyfriend throws her down the stairs, it doesn't mean "I love you.""

Not really. The closest thing to it was Kelly indirectly complimenting her for helping Donna give Doc Martin's eulogy.
