She was indeed gorgeous. One of my favorite looks on her ever. It did remind me of The Time Has Come Today hippie stuff, especially when she was wearing denim toward the end of the episode, but also of Fame Is Where You Find It when she, Brenda/Laverne and Donna danced to It's My Party. She was wearing denim with sunflowers as well, and maybe also a braid? An another fabulous hippie look.

I really liked the development of Kelly/Steve friendship in S4. John Sears was supposed to be a litmus test for Kelly's growth with regard to men and relationships, and mainly a catalyst for her relationship with Dylan, I guess, but while he weakened that relationship, he strengthened her friendship with Steve, I would say. Steve stood up to him risking his frat status and reputation, both for Kelly and the other people. I really enjoyed when Steve told Kelly about Sears' plans with the underaged girl and they stopped the whole thing together. That was great. Now think back to S1 Kelly/Steve and whether they would be able or even interested to do such a thing, especially together. No freakin' way. They've come the long road.

Yup, we could always see that. In S2 they got such a nice development. As characters, but also in their relationships. Kelly and Steve got to work things out, a lot of residues of their S1 grudges and tensions.
