I guess Kelly tried to do the best thing. It did not turn out good for her looking good though, because she went to make out with Dylan very soon after her lecture to David, and accepting credits from him for "keeping him straight". Faithful. Whatever.

I did not like the teasing scene from Highwire. When Kelly pretends to take off her clothes to "reward" David and he gets all shocked. She knew he had a crush on her - kept being grumpy for it a whole episode - and not just he was her step brother, but her best friend's boyfriend. It's not enough that one of her best friends' boyfriends' is crushing on her - Dylan, that is - and she supposedly feels guilty about it - she has to tease the other one, knowing he was attracted to her longer than Dylan. It's not even that she presumed he would not cheat on Donna - she was all like "In your dreams", letting him know he can't have her (which he knew very well already). No consideration for Donna at all - of course that her horny boyfriend who probably never saw her naked will think of the naked woman he saw - and whom he happened to like longer than Donna and who lived under the same roof. Teasing him about it is not a behaviour of a step sister or Donna's best friend.

That scene was supposed to be there for comical relief, but it felt really weird.

Really well put, Es I totally agree.

This was another thing I hated about Kelly. She acted similarly about Steve - she knew he continued to like her despite how many guys she dated in season 1 but she kept giving him false hope just because he was the only guy to consistently obsess over her. She enjoyed having him on a pedestal.

With David, it was even more unfair because he had always treated her well. To tease the guy who had an unrequited crush on her as well as the guy who knows he cannot be with her due to their familial ties - it was sick, in my view. Bad move by Kelly.
