 they got off to a great start in season 5. Kelly had tremendous character progression - instead of being overwhelmed and backing off like when Dylan lost Jack, she took some advice from Andrea and just let Brandon know that she loved him and would be there for him.  I'm in "someone please save me" mode on a re-watch of the atrocious season 8 for these two   I can't believe I just sat through the  with Emma again.I'm still cringe-laughing at the excuse they give for Brandon cheating: "everything was too perfect"  Oh and apparently he feared commitment with Kelly? SERIOUSLY? The guy who proposed to her three years before?  I'm convinced that many of the new season 8 writers had never watched the whole show before joining. __________________

there is so much room for development there.Selfishly, I like that the writers had them on the same page as each other with unfulfilled love lives. It was a great foundation and left the door open in case season 2 becomes a thing. __________________

I liked their dialogues in the reboot much more than in the original. But I liked the script in the reboot much better in general.

^ Ironic dialogue because they both look very pretty in that scene, and Kelly's make-up actually makes her hair look much better for once.
Season 6 offered so much hope, even though they spent most of it apart. __________________
