But then again, maybe they did it on purpose to get some big hype for the spinoff.

I see 90210 as a failed show, so I would say whatever they were trying to do to get everyone hyped only backfired. That's my simplistic view, and I'm sticking with it.

Nothing wrong with that view. I tried to watch the spin off and no disrespect towards it, I just could not get into it.

Different topic - I think it's funny how often the fact that Brandon takes honors English comes up. In fact, I always chuckle whenever the characters refer to their class as "AP English." I didn't realize the AP program was around back then, but I do know that we only referred to our AP classes by their subject name in school, not "AP ____." I think that would've sounded pretentious in my school, lol.
Also, I wonder if he and Andrea took other advanced classes? If West Bev is as competitive a school as the principle said in the pilot, then I would've assumed both he and Brenda would take mostly AP courses. __________________

^ I agree. I've never taken any AP classes before and I have no regrets. I usually see the AP students carry around those books that looks like SAT Prep books....but it has the words AP on them. I guess those were SAT books.

I never thought of that until you mentioned it. Although in my high school, we did refer to AP classes as AP, but we had AP and honors classes too.

Haha. I don't think I ever referred to my AP classes as such unless I had to clarify the class level. The books were probably prep books for the AP exam, which gives you college credit if you do well on them. Always a "fun" time of year.

Wow...I never knew you get college credit for them. But I guess that's what Clare may have gotten in S4 when she was a senior in high school. When she enter college, she said she gotten enough credit to be a sophomore.

Cool. Graduating early like David Silver.
I agree with not knowing what to do yet. I still don't know. __________________

That's cool. I would've love to graduate early from college. I didn't like my college experience at all.

I don't remember how much credit it counted for to be honest.
