Gotta love Brandon.

The boy scout, who is committed to doing the right thing and will always show integrity and a good heart.

Jim Walsh: "You've got a big heart Brandon. And there's nothing wrong with that."

Brandon is great during seasons 1 & 2. He is less cocky and more hard working and well meaning.

He's always up early, working hard, doing something which challenges him, maybe sometimes getting into a big of trouble, but that was always different with Brandon, because you knew what kind of a guy he was: trusting and trust worthy, loyal and hard working. A good scout.

He keeps Steve in line and Dylan from going over the edge. He makes his father proud of him constantly.

Like in the One on One episode in season 1, Jim Walsh loves his son doing well at basketball (even if Brando never makes the team).

He also never takes abuse from people. He's a straight shooter. If i needed someone to do something responsible for me, I'd ask Brandon.

And for all the fandom the actor received, and all of that outside stuff, you peel back the layers and go back and watch the actual episodes, and you find a really good performance throughout.

It can't have been easy playing that part, but he does it well.

Brandon: "Nice suit."
History teacher: "It is quite hideous isn't it"
Brandon: "But you where it well"

Higher Education is one my favorite episodes, because it's where we get to see Brandon choose between Steve's cheating mentality, or his own honesty and integrity.

It contrasts Brandon to someone like Steve who is definitely got the devil horns on his head, every time he gives that devlish smile I laugh.

Brandon is far more angel than devil. He's definitely not an anti-hero like Dylan. He's the good guy. He gets good grades, works hard at the Peach Pit and even does stuff to help society.

He works hard at that newspaper with Andrea.

"Girls I'd like you to meet someone, Mr Branford Walsh"

"Excuse me I didn't think it was Brandon Mendlebowne!"


Gotta love the way he and Brenda get on so well during the first 2 seasons. There's something so classic about Brandon and Brenda, don't they just define the 90s for you guys?

Brandon in his Peach Pit uniform rocks. He loves Nat and Nat loves him like a son. They got on so well.

The dvd has special features where the comedians say that Brandon loves doing menial jobs. I think that's funny but i don't think it's true.

He does get a job as dish washer during season 1, before then coming to the Peach Pit to work for Nat.

Even though he probably only gets minimum wage, it doesn't seem like a menial job. It's doubtful he'd do it otherwise.

Brandon is so very hard working and dedicated. Just look at the amount of time he spends working at the newspaper for Andrea.

The question is this: is he a realistic character?

Are there people actually like this?

I think i've yet to meet one. He is so loveable. You can see why Kelly likes him.

He's good looking, loyal, hard working, compassionate, dedicated...He should run for office!!!!!!!

Oh man ... I am gonna have to grab some chips and settle in for this. 42 min of Luke and Jason talking BH90210 and their personal friendship? I'm already having too many feelings.

One of my favorite lines. He respects the integrity that Mr. Danzel carries. By the end, it mirrors his own.

I would say yes, only because he also expressed frustration with the role he had carved out for himself.

They help keep Brandon and Dylan alive. I know that they must be (or at least Jason is) tired of getting 90210 questions....but since they keep letting us ask them, I think they're ok with that (or they just give up).
