APPRECIATION THREADS

Appreciation threads are not fronts for anti sentiments. Appreciation threads are meant to discuss the couple or character in the thread topic, and that’s it. If you do not like the couple or character do not post in their appreciation thread. No taunting or bashing should occur, and it won’t be tolerated here.

BASHING

There will be no bashing on this board. We take this rule very seriously. It covers everything – posters, real people (i.e. cast, writers, producers, etc.) and fan bases. There have been problems with veiled and subtle comments against various fanbases and it will not be tolerated. Remember to respect everyone and their opinions. In an effort not to offend or hurt someone please remember to reread your comments before you post. Doing so will help ensure that every poster is respected and bashing is not taking place.

• In addition to that, lurking on opposite threads (those you don’t ship or appreciate) is firmly discouraged. Talking about what other posters have said in their respective threads in your thread will not be allowed.

• We suggest that you don't go into any thread that you are not a shipper of and know that you will not like what you will most likely read there. If for some reason you do have a problem about a discussion in one of these threads, PLEASE PM us about the issue.


DOUBLE/TRIPLE POSTING

Please refrain from double and triple posting. There are exceptions, such as when FF or your computer is running slow and freezes or times out on you and accidentally puts more than one post through; we understand you can't control that. And if there's a thread which hasn't been posted in for a while and you'd like to add to it with new information, then you can post. But other than that, please do NOT double or triple post.

OTHER POSTERS OR FANBASES

Talking about what other posters/fan bases have said in their respective threads in another thread is not allowed.

SHIPPER THREADS AND ANTI-THREADS – STRIKES. Please read carefully.

We have had history of tension at the BH 90210 board because of shipper fights. We definitely want to avoid such conflicts that might lead to shipper wars and awkwardness at the board.

That’s why we’re implementing the "3-Strike Rule."

This rule is very simple and works this way: Every shipper thread will be given a strike when one of the rules is broken. Once the second strike has been issued, the moderators will consult with the Moderator Managers about a possible temporary thread closure. All strikes expire 3 months after they’ve been issued.

Some of the strikes we will be looking for are the following:

• Bashing of Kelly, Dylan, Brenda or Brandon in the Brandon/Kelly, Bandits and Swingers thread. Basically, bashing of any couple in any of the opposite shipper threads.
• Bashing of couples that don't belong to the title of an anti-thread.
• Bashing and making fun of any couples. Constructive criticism and comparisons are fine, but it will be our discretion as to whether or not it crosses the line.
• Making constant and funny remarks about other shippers groups/couples that are only meant to spark-off/ provoke other BH 90210 posters.
• Bashing either fanbase or taking posts from their thread.
• Making fun of titles, or using titles that take jabs at the other fanbase.



We hope you understand we’re doing this for the best interest of the board, since we’ve realized most of the thread warnings are often ignored. We want everyone to be respectful of the rules as well as the fellow members on it. And mostly, we want to keep a friendly and welcome atmosphere in every single thread at the board.

There are some characters I consider uninteresting on my part, but that's about it. Favorite scene? At the moment it is when Brandon asks Andrea to dance at the Spring Dance in season 1. I love it for many reasons. First that he asks her despite having said more than once that he hates to dance. And the awakened shipper in me kinda likes that Kelly had to drag him up on the dance floor, while he willingly asks Andrea. And it is just such a cute scene. Favorite season? So far I just have to say season one, I love it. What made you a 90210 fan? I was a casual watcher to begin with, but when I began rewatching the show it was Andrea that won me over

Favorite season? Third - so much drama!
What made you a 90210 fan? Honestly, I was just looking for a new show to watch last summer and picked up the first season for twenty bucks. Ended up absolutely addicted and bought the rest of the seasons that were out (at that time, up to season 4) within the same month. It was just different from most teen series I've seen and also a break from the sci-fi and suspense that I usually watch.

I'm a shipper, reader and writer of fanfic, and I can't wait for season 8 to come out on DVD. (Hurry up, CBS!!!)
