In "And I Did It My Way", S4, Andrea talks to Laura while giving her Steve's number, and she comments that the great thing about college is getting to meet different people from all over, "even those who you'd least expect", and she's full of playful smirks. It's a great contrast to her attitude at WBH in S1.
 And I think they wanted to make a small reflective point for Andrea because there was really no other reason for the dialogue in the scene, unless it's supposed to cast a little suspense as to who Laura might turn out to be.__________________

I always enjoyed her on the beach during the summer as a counselor, I think. She was great with children, especially the deaf kid and the sand-building contest.
