^ I love that episode. Val/Dylan/Jonesy made a great team. :D

I remember I was always uncertain of what are the true motives of Jonesy. I didn't know whether Val was playing Jonesey or the other way around.

I kinda had the same feeling  You never knew what to expect with those two

^ The last reference to Jonesy that I recalled was that he called Val in the S6 finale telling her that Dylan was in London with Brenda. Was there anything else from Jonesy after that?

 Both of them always had an ulterior motive and a trick or two up their sleeve, hehe. Which explains why Dylan was wary of them. ;)

I'm thinking - wasn't there that time that Val got in trouble trying to do some kind of 'sting' dressed as a prostitute and she called him for help or am I totally thinking of something else?!!! Did that happpen before or after that phone call in S6. I do forget.

Yea, that was in S6. Was there anything after S6?

GrhmLz 05-08-2011 06:47 PM

I can't recall and it's been awhile since I watched anything after S4 again, lol.

I don't think we ever heard from Jonesy ever again after the S6 finale. I always get him confused with that guy who Dylan met at the rehab clinic in S5.

 Oh my gosh, I used to do the same thing, haha. Now, I remember to separate them. As for Jonesy, was he ever brought up again in S10 when Dylan found out about his dad still being alive?! Did they ask for his help or did Dylan, Kelly, etc. track where Jack Mckay was currently living?! I forgot if he helped behind the scenes or anything.

quin0611 05-11-2011 04:42 PM

yes i def think jonesy help behind the scenes too!

GrhmLz 05-11-2011 06:46 PM

Yeah, I know we didn't see him again but I forgot if there was any mention of 'contact' or 'help' from one of the characters when they found out about Jack Mckay and tracking down where he was living. :)

Add me? :flowers: I enjoyed their unique friendship. Wish Dylan was a little nicer though.

You've been added

Yeah, I think Dylan's emotional state starting S5 didn't allow him to be nice to anyone...even to those he loved, he was cold as ice and hurt them. But it was interesting to see how Valerie found the way to make him open his heart in someway and I think they both eventually connected because they knew what it felt to be betrayed and hurt by people you thought you could trust. In a way, they helped to get through rough times together.

It didn't hurt to see their hot, steamy scenes, too ;)

Nothing Else Matters 03-04-2012 03:22 PM

They were hot. :thud:

IA, Dylan was pushing everybody away & Val was the only one that didn't let his words & actions stop her from helping him.

After the peak of their confrontation in "Who's Zoomin' Who?", I'd say Valerie was one of the few people he did allow himself to be kind to in S5. They were both onto each other in so many ways. That's what makes that confrontation great.

"What's wrong with that?"

"... Nothing." (hug)
