Dylan/Steve/Kelly #4: Because "They're my soul siblings." - Jennie (about Luke and Ian)
 I know this trio wasn't front and center, but it deserves to be acknowledged because, I believe, their stories were interrelated. And you'd be surprised how often their united friendship was addressed. The background story between them was under the surface ... yet essential.   Yeah, I guess it wasn't too bad but it was absolutely terrifying. Now that I've got one under my belt I'm feeling a little more confident. But I could never do the Swingers thread. Way too complicated for me.  Wait a second... Is there a way to go back and edit it so I can check that box that says 'show signature'? __________________

 I was terrified with my first too. So, you see the web address that's there when you're on this first page? Copy it, then paste it onto the Navigation Thread in a regular post please. http://www.fanforum.com/f265/dylan-s...-ian-62907121/ http://www.fanforum.com/f265/dylan-s...-ian-62907121/ I'll edit these out in a bit, but look, the first link was made by pasting the address in the space that come up when you hit the little globe/paperclip button, and the second link was just a straight 'paste'. So, either way, and I guess the same would work for linking the previous thread (there should be an 'edit' button on the bottom right). Then there's the art of copy/pasting text, highlighting the text, copying the URL link, and clicking the globe/paperclip to past that URL on the highlighted text, making a text link. EDIT: But your signature did show up. __________________

BEAUTIFUL OP! I hadn't really connected how Steve, too, was the other character so tied to his reputation from childhood/school.
And the one thing Steve and Dylan had most in common was their love for Kelly. I saw the fire episode the other day and Steve's instant reaction of tears to Kelly's still being in the house nearly made me cry. Again, Dylan's telling her that he would love her even if she hadn't been beautiful after the fire is also overwhelming. She was dating Brandon, who obviously cared, but I don't think you'll find two people who had deeper reactions to her well-being than Dylan and Steve. __________________

Yes, it hits them right in the gut.
 I was also thinking today that these three might be the only ones to, at times, lose all positive regard for themselves. I actually started by thinking of Steve's story. __________________
