This is all true in the larger sense, but can't a person just sulk? Lord knows I would sulk. It's no fun to be in Kelly's position, though ... watching someone read.

I'd say if you're sulking to the point that it's ruining your relationship, it's time to stop sulking.

Well it's hard to just switch your emotions. I say if it's sulking to the point where it's ruining your relationship...talk about it to the other person in the relationship...get some perspective. Some times like Mel says, you have to sulk...you just do...but there comes a point where if it's lasting for as long as it lasted with him he should have talked it over with her. It's hard for him to open up, but by that point I think they knew they could open up to each other.

So true. I'd probably just ruin my relationship. Hey, maybe he had gone on and on about his grievances to Kelly and had hit a dead end. At the end of the day, he's still not accepted at the school, so it was still an issue with him. Going to college was supposed to be like his final salute to Jack, and then ... nothing. It's amazing that Dylan didn't have back-up choices. He's really lucky that C.U. even let him in.

That's a good point, he could have talked to her all about it. We don't know for sure. I'm the same, I probably would too. I'm already sulking cause I can't go to the schools where I want to go to...not because of my grades, it's a money thing. In a way I get what he's feeling. But it's even more than that, it is a Jack thing until he gets into CU. This is exactly why he should have applied to more than one school. He knew Berkly was a long shot. Kelly was free to go off and do her own thing if she wanted too, and she did. I don't know, I can see both sides of it.

I your icons. There aren't many Dylan icons And I forgot you made one, so I was happy when I came across this. It's so cute too. You know how happy season ten Dylan makes me. Oh you should do that! We'll be the Dylan twins or something more catchy than that. Our Dylan bias can just shine through!

Jac, I don't know why he didn't apply either. He was probably about to and then got the sudden urge to surf, read poetry, and paint with Kelly. It's a wonder the one application got filled out.

Painting can be very distracting and time consuming.
Heh...I was filling out a college application earlier and got distracted...but not by painting.
