Jason affirms that he was opposed to leading a new love triangle in the production of Aaron Spelling. He did not like the storylines around the end of season 5.
We have already had enough love triangles in the series (referring to the Dylan/Brenda/Kelly triangle), and when [the writers] said to me that Brandon and Kelly were going to go out together, they promised me that they were not going to let Dylan’s character intervene or disrupt the Kelly/Brandon relationship.

Love Unspoken can be the most heartbreaking kind of love. It’s the type of love Brandon and Kelly had for at least two seasons of the show. As a viewer, it makes it more compelling to watch, as the pain of seeing two people so right together not being able to share their feelings with each other really hits home. The following episode crammed this into a nutshell. They’re still in love each other, but they’re afraid to admit it, even though everyone else knows it, so they hold in their feelings and try to move on. ... It never happens, of course. A love like theirs doesn’t end.

Brandon always knew the words to say to comfort Kelly. It was always nice to be able to treasure moments like these, moments which say so little and yet so much at the same time:

We always knew Kelly and Brandon were meant to be together and live happily ever after with their “hockey team of kids” so Kelly getting pregnant following their long-awaited reunion was like the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out in our favour, but getting to see their reactions to being potential parents was quite something. The important thing? Even though they felt too young for such a huge development, it got them discussing their future together. – Which is something they did a lot throughout the show.

When B/K get back together, after 2 seasons of all the will-they-won’t-they drama, everything just feels right again. Look below. Look how happy they are, how peaceful. Absolute perfection. Every episode should’ve been like this one.

The look. As in, the look. That’s all there is to say, really. (You know how they say “you can say everything with a look”? Well, this scene is proof of it.) It’s pivotal. It’s hot. It’s B/K.

B/Kers were very lucky with the season premiere following their getting together! It’s revealed that Kelly spent her whole summer in Minnesota with Brandon and his parents, and they’re now officially dating, with their friends finding out through the episode (with the exceptions of Andrea who gave her blessing in Mr Walsh Goes To Washington, and Dylan who resides in Spain for the time being). Below you’ll see a hot scene from the ep. We think Brandon’s crazy for not staying, but, you know, obligations and everything. *rolls eyes*

Brandon twice proposed to Kelly at the beach. The first proposal, which you can see here, was very impressive – he bought her new rollerblades, asked her to try them on, hiding the engagement ring in one of them. Kelly may not have accepted, but she looked deeply thoughtful, and the following scene with them walking along the beach, hands linked, proved how much these two really did love each other.

Kelly and Brandon’s second kiss had that something more to it than the first ... It was real. It wasn’t just about passion. It was the epitome of the resolution of long-repressed feelings between the two of them, as they both admit afterwards to having “always wanted it to happen”.

The Season 4 finale was the episode in which Kelly and Brandon finally got together. For many of us, it is THE best 90210 episode; and it’s the episode which leads to a new beginning for the show.
