Donna and Dylan were her only true friends in that whole scenario. Everyone else just saw her as a criminal, even her own parents to some degree.

They both looked great there. I always liked Brenda in that black, but looking now, that jacket on Donna and her hair are also really cool.

I just hated those super short shorts she was wearing, but luckily, we can't see them here.

If you have the DVD set, there's a special feature where two guys make fun of a lot of things in seasons 2 and 3 (they're hilarious, by the way) and they show a clip of Donna dressed like that to joke about the irony of her being the virginal character who always dressed the most revealing. They're not wrong

That is a good point

I wonder if they emphasized it more in season 2 because a) they were putting her with David, who was innocent himself and b) they wanted her to stand apart from Brenda and Kelly's experience so Tori would have a bigger role?

I also think Aaron (her dad) probably had a say in it.

You mean, in Donna being a virgin? I think so. I think he insisted on it. And Tori wanted a role of the good girl, the nicest girl, given that she was not the prettiest, and to show her body at the same time.

I mean, hey, a girl can be a virgin and wear whatever she wants. But it felt quite hypocritical, probably because we knew about the producer daughter's ambitions.
