I honestly can't remember much of Season 8 (which is ironic because I own it but I don't watch it at all
 I hate most of it), so I can't really comment on the idea that Val might have cheated on David... I just remember a point where Val heard a song he wrote called 'SUMMER, WINTER, SPRING'  and she got so excited believing he had written it for her... But then starts to think he wrote it for Donna?   I hate that kind of twist. I was so over David/Donna by that point.  __________________

^ Ugh, yes
  I feel as if David/Donna was the show's safety net by that point, simply because Brian and Tori were the less likely people to leave the cast (as we know, Tiffani leaves). If the show was made today, then I'm fairly certain David/Valerie would have been endgame either way, because shows actually pay attention on social media to what fans enjoy. __________________
