Those scenes were great because it showed how comfortable they are with each other and it's nice foreshadowing for when they soon get together

A moment that sticks out to me is in Addicted to Love is when Brandon is asking Dylan if he can take Kelly with him to meet the Chancellor and then after a moment decides "maybe this just isn't right..." -- It's as if he knows something might happen between him and Kelly

I think he was fearful when he said "maybe this just isn't right" and there were concerns that both of them will overstep the mark, which they did at the retreat.

As much as I enjoyed the BK kiss at the retreat, they were wrong in doing so since Kelly was dating Dylan regardless what I think of that couple.

Both Brandon and Kelly knew if they hung out together alone, sparks will fly. After the Spring Dance kiss, they never hung out alone until Addicted To Love. Sure, they had small moments here and there, which was also flirtatious, but they didn't properly hung out alone for a considerable time. Brandon knew deep in his heart that he was always attracted to Kelly

^ I loved this dialogue and how it basically retconned Brandon's pathetic claim that he saw her as more of a sister back in S1

Brandon used the sister excuse to hide his feelings for Kelly because of Steve and Brenda - it was really stupid of him to say that. If he just took things slowly with her from the Spring Dance, there would have been no problems. He was clearly attracted her but was in denial

I wish he'd actually admitted in S4 that he'd used that as a pathetic excuse to cover up the fact that he just couldn't hurt Steve by dating his ex

I never understood why Darren Star basically wrote it both ways. In the Pilot he showed Brandon being attracted to Kelly but refraining from going beyond that because he can see Steve still likes her... Then he writes the Spring Prom with a different angle

Yes it was clear since season 1. The chemistry was always there and the sexual tension. They were meant to be from the begining. Wish they har gone down the root in season 1, but taken it slow because of Steve. I agree ot was wrong that Brandon and Kelly kissed at the resort, despite my dislike for Kelly and Dylan as a couple
