I always liked Dylan and his storylines. For some reason they always interested me.

Really, you guys did not notice his scar? It was so visible that writers wrote it into Dylan's character and gave it a back story - car accident when he was a kid

Although I can place some of my own romanticism on Dylan's trajectory, coming home an even more destroyed man, I'm not sure Luke understood where to logically jump back in, esp with the S9 writers trying to make him into a badass.

at the bolded part. But yeah, writing was really not good in the last seasons. Some of Dylan's essential characteristics and background parts were missing. The other actors were tired too. It seemed like nobody cared, Luke included. He said he returned only for a pay check anyway.

I would also give up addiction to drugs in S9, but would address his alcoholism issues. And Erica. And so many things that defined him in the past.

I can't believe how many of you guys haven't noticed it before!

It was his token item. Have you watched Baby Makes Five, S2 Valentine's day episode, when Dylan takes Brenda to donate blood together and explains that he's got his scar in a car accident and blood donation saved his life?

I do remember that episode, I remember him talking about the scar. I just couldn't see it very well on my TV.
