^ That episode was the first true reminder after a terrible season 3 period that Dylan still had Brenda in his heart.
It was hinted at when he rang her in Minnesota (4x01), but then that was treated like it was nothing in 4x02. __________________

^ Those early scenes in season 5 where he's depressed and bemoaning the state of his life to a guy he owes a lot of money to are VERY underrated. Luke was great in these scenes; he played Dylan's shame and depression very naturally.
I just wish Brenda had been around to support him. __________________
