Hated a lot of her isolated storylines, though. The thing with Stuart... Big yikes for her character. I never believed for a second that she would go along with getting engaged to a guy who she only met the week prior

I can sort of see her getting engaged to someone super quickly (it was a bit more than a week, but still, too soon), but not to a lame, non-interesting guy like Stuart. I adored that Brenda was not needy and she did not have to date someone right away after Dylan, yet she did not pine all the time for him, given that she rejected him in the graduation episode and when they went fishing. I guess the nice closure of that arc and her gentle rejection also opened the door for the new opportunities, that is, she allowed herself to open up for the new possibilities, and then Stuart conveniently kicked in. But it could have been someone better

She was so cool for such a long time after the break up with Dylan, and then fell for whateverish guy. He did treat her nicely so I can imagine she confused gratefulness and having fun with love, but still, the girl who had sensibility and sophistication to want to marry such a guy and claim she was never happier and blah blah? Nah.

I loved Brendas and Stuarts "wedding." It was so hysterical

I laughed so hard

So it was worth it for that funny "wedding" episode.
