Kelly wasn't nice in this particular season and she got worse as the show went on. The triangle ruined their friendship. In all honesty I never thought Kelly was a true friend to Brenda. Yes at times they helped each other but I don't think their friendship was as strong as what people think. The friendship between them was only one way in my opinion

I think she was a good friend to Brenda prior to S3. She was there for her, even when it comes to Dylan. I think all the characters were somewhat changed in S3. S2 Kelly would not go after Dylan.

You know, I liked Kelly in S1 and S2, she was funny, a lot of fun and happy. She had real potential of becoming my favorite female character on the show but then it drastically changed in S3
