I rewatched Game Is Chicken and it is the first time that season Kelly was happy. I don't count dance at the end of Home and Away. Girls promise each other they would never let a guy come between them, but Kelly still shows no intention of telling Brenda anything about the summer.

Ok, I'll bring a part of my post from Brandon/Dylan thread here so we can discuss it wherever. I am not sure that Brandon and Dylan managed to stay better friends than Brenda and Kelly after the triangle, but if they did, it was because in their case "the traitor" proved to be a true friend by helping the betrayed one. Brandon was really there for Dylan in S5 during his alcohol/drugs addiction. We did not have parallel situation with the girls. I guess therefore initially writers wanted Brenda to have diet pills addiction and Kelly to help her, so she could prove that she was still a good friend to Brenda. But there was no storyline in which Kelly helped Brenda after the triangle. Even when she tried, in Maggie the Cat audition, it backfired. __________________

I agree. I was expecting the Brandon/Dylan tension to reignite in S6 but thanks to Colin being there and Dylan/Toni hooking up, it was somewhat avoided.

Btw, I read old interview with Jennie from 1994, after her first wedding that Shannen attended, even after Shannen left the show, and she said they were friends. Reluctantly, but she said so. Then when S5 filming started and I guess she was sure Shannen was not coming back, she said some mean things (like "I think there is something evil inside of her").
