Yes, and maybe their first scene ever together with just two of them also included the dog, Vallie, in Spring Training David thought about taking him, but wanted Brenda to settle a date with Kelly for him. Brenda demonstratively sent him home It was too bad they had so few scenes together, I mean, outside of the bigger group, because I liked it whenever they interacted. But I think this could be an explanation why Brenda kept him in distance for awhile. She was so protective of Kelly

I like it when they interacted too, but I do understand maybe why she kept her distance too at first. She was being protective at Kelly. Also in the beginning Kelly didn't want to be around him, so naturally Brenda didn't either.

That's true. I mean, not like David gave her (or Kelly) any good reasons to want to be around him. He was boring, stalked Kelly, tried to catch them all naked a couple of times. Not attractive
