Doing a season 4 re-watch and up to the story arc where Brandon is tutoring D'Shawn

I have such mixed feelings on Professor Randell I get why he's mad at Brandon but why the hell has he stayed married to Lucinda knowing her cheating behavior? He basically accuses her of being a predator on young guys. What kind of Professor takes it out on his student instead of being the bigger guy and just filing for divorce?

They were already separated, right? Maybe did not fill in for divorce yet, but it seems to be they were separated. So his jealousy was indeed weird. Except that maybe he thought it was humiliating she was seeing a student while she was still formally married to him.
