I was watching season 5 episode 29 on Pop yesterday. Valerie said that Brandon never even high fived her all that time she was there, so they hugged. She seemed like she had a thing for him. I don't remember much. I couldn't even remember if they ever got together. I think they kissed once

They did kiss in the very final scene of S5. However, they said in S6 that they did not sleep together because once they took their clothes off, they started laughing. Later it was retconned that Kelly walked in on them and that's why Val hated her - she supposedly always wanted him. Also, they said at some point that they were each other's first kiss.

Hm, I don't think it was only that. Val was super hot and we already saw him having sexual fantasises about her, didn't we? I mean, man does not need an excuse to kiss Val
 However, I guess he would not have got into that if he hadn't broken up with Kelly previously, especially because he already screwed up with Emily and that hurt Kelly. __________________

Yes he was having sexual fantasies over Val but I don't think that would have happened if he and Kelly didn't break up or should I say that Brandon breaking it off with her. But there is serious sexual tension between them. I would have rooted for Brandon and Val being together in S6 and S7 instead of having Susan and Tracy as his GFs for those seasons.
I would be certainly thinking that if I was single regarding Val  __________________
