I'm pretty sure it is because I remember Brandon wearing that red jacket during his addiction period (probably from Duke's Bad Boy). I loved that storyline

I did not care about that SL at all. But I liked that Steve proved to be a good friend to Brandon, offering him money and insisting that Brandon tells Jim about his problem.
Btw, did he ever tell Jim about it? I only remember Natt paid his debt. __________________

I think there was a discussion about it with Jim and Brandon after Brandon reacted at the dining table while Dylan and Kelly were sitting opposite to him. Steve showed the good side and I think this is where Steve gone up in my popularity stakes and became my 2nd fav character on the show after Brandon.
Yes Esma, Brandon (the sanctimonious ass and self righteous jerk he can be) is my fav character and I actually like him being that too  I thought Jason did a great job in being a gambling addict and showing the darker side to Brandon's personality - it was a very good story and a valuable lesson to be learnt and the dangers associated with it when it comes to gambling __________________

No not at all but Nat warned Brandon that if he does it again, the first call he will make is to his father.
But he got addicted again in 6x14 when he was with Susan but Nat got him away yet again while doing a charity casino night at the After Dark __________________
