Now I'm wondering if B/K would've still gotten together at the end of S4 if Brandon had been with Nikki all season. I also wonder how certain viewers would've responded.

In any case, it might've made for an interesting triangle later.

I wish that there had been more scenes of Nikki at the Walsh house.

I can see many different scenarios.

Since the writers cut Celeste off the show between the end of S4 and the beginning of S5, they could definitely have done the same with Nikki.

Either that or Brandon would've cheated on Nikki with Kelly in S4. But I wouldn't want that to be the way of how BK got together.

I'm not trying to pretend to be an expert cause it's pretty much all speculation on my part, but imho B/K at the end of season 4 was prompted by Shannen leaving the show... as much as I'm a giggly lil girl when it comes to that pairing I don't think it was actually meant to happen back then... I just get the feeling that it was randomly incorporated among all the other plotlines that the writers had already prepared...
so in my opinion if Nikki had stayed for season 4 they would have:

• either made some 'big' event with her and made her part of the main cast (like with David skipping a year in high school) if the ratings approved of her pairing with Brandon (while creating some other friction - Steve and Kelly revamp or Dylan-Kelly-Val triangle)
• or she would have been 'forced' to disappear anyway to make way for the Kelly-Brandon-Dylan triangle if the Brandon/Nikki thing wasn't super popular... actually that would probably have prompted some weird mish-mash between the four at the end of season 4 (I mean Brandon-Nikki-Kelly-Dylan)... actually maybe she wouldn't have disappeard altogether but got together with Dylan in season 5 then lol... haha ok I'm rambling my imagination is in overdrive today I guess :P

Still, I can't really imagine Nikki with anyone other than Brandon, at least not after they got together.

Just found out, via IMDB, that her sister appeared in an episode of Melrose Place, around the same time Dana began on this show.
