Yeah. I think he's all for Kelly but he can also be influenced. Just look at Emma. Ugh.

Maybe I would if I found that story line believable, but I never did.

Just like I never found it believable that he viewed Kelly as a sister after knowing her for such a short period. I'm kind of glad that they waited to get together, but one wonders if they would've been an interesting couple back then.

It would be interesting to see BK as a couple back in high school.

The sister thing was a lame excuse to keep them apart for a while. Darren Star said that they knew from the beginning B/K would become a couple, but he felt it could only happen after Kelly matured.

The whole "I know you too well" was obviously related to her being best friends with his sister and that being awkward for him, but I always thought they should have kept the reason for B/K not being together as STEVE. He was the reason that Brandon used in that Season 1 episode where Kelly campaigns for Brandon to win the election. "Steve wouldn't like this."

Yeah, Steve should have been the one and only reason for B/K not hooking up straight away. The sister thing came totally out of left-field.

Having said that, it was much worse in Season 9 when the new script writers wrote "they didn't swing from chandeliers" just to fuel Dylan's ego.

I agree. Also once BK had already became a couple, by the beginning of S5, no matter how disappointed Steve looked, Brandon wasn't going to break up with Kelly. No doubt about that.

I love Season 5. My favorite episode is 'What I Did On My Summer Vacation and Other Stories' and I love how it just dives into Kelly and Brandon letting everyone know they're a couple

Yep, still think Steve should have been the ONLY reason for B/K not immediately hooking up. The writers just needlessly confused it with the "sister" comment at the dance

I love that episode.

Besides the Steve thing, I think mostly it's because Darren Star wanted to save this couple paring for later on when ratings might be dropping or if they run out of new couple ideas.

I think it was good that these two waited until they were older to date. It gave them both time to grow up and mature.

Happy New Year Brelly fans!!

Hi Gwen, welcome back

Personally if BK were to be formed in HS, then I think they should start around S3 otherwise I would prefer them to start when they both matured around S6 (with no love interference from their former lovers)

I'm afraid that if they had gotten together in HS, they would've broken up too quickly.

I think if they started in S1 then yes you are right but I think in S3, it could have been developed nice and slowly

That's right - I think a nice and slow loving bond forming between them would be good in S3

Be careful. Jim and Cindy will probably be watching at all times.

Yes they will be - and they will give them guidelines and rules. One rule will be "If I hear noises in the bedroom, our son is doing something right"
