Wow, I did not realize she dated Jay for 5 months! I thought it was a couple of weeks.

Now, about Andrea losing her virginity to Brandon and never sleeping with him again - it was against the logic of this show. They made such a big deal of the female characters losing their virginity. Andrea actually did it in the most casual way. But with the main male character it could have not been casual. Especially not with Brandon, given how long the audience was teased about possibility of their romance.

Yep. just shy of 5 months. You know what's funny? I think Donna and Andrea were the two girls who spent the longest time in relationships the senior year. Andrea was with Jay until December 92, and then she got with Jordan in Feb 93. She was in a relationship for almost the whole season.

The show didn't follow much logic, especially when it came to Brandon and Andrea. Like it never made sense that Andrea would let Kelly convince her to not sleep with Brandon so they could use the Peach Pit for a going away party. Andrea really wanted it, and once Brandon opened himself up, he did too. It made 0 sense that they didn't sleep together. All logic was thrown right out the window.

It did not make much sense, but then again, I can sort of see how it could be plausible. Andrea was shy and insecure and when Kelly suggested to just throw a party instead (then again, why?), she could have seen that as a quick exit. Also, she was meek with popular girls at that point, so i can see her being influenced by them. So when sexpert of the group Kelly said she should step down with her wish to sleep with Brandon, she did it.
