I am not sure. At first I thought it was a "Song for Myself" when they were talking about Nikki. It could also be "Rebel with a Cause" when Dylan told him about leaving town. But yeah, something from that period.

^ That scene right there is where I felt the real-life friendship between them shine through the most. You could feel the years between Luke and Jason of familiarity and I just love the utter excitement that Dylan feels upon seeing Brandon after having such an awkward time with Kelly in Paris.

I just re-watched 1x04 and still crack up at that scene where Brandon and Dylan fight like an old married couple.

I think it was pretty smart they made them sort of fight over a girl at the very beginning, and determine it would not be an issue between them. Brandon could overcome his insecurities about Dylan. Dylan would not really make a move on his girl.

I wonder if Cheryl would have gone for him had he tried. I guess she would have.

It is also funny, watching Dylan introducing them to clubbing and 90210 nightlife, to imagine him in S3-4 as a guy who allegedly hated parties. I mean, he said in BYOB already that he was not into that. I guess he meant "not anymore" because he was trying to avoid drinking. But he obviously knew the places. He knew the underground place in S2 as well, he knew the place Stuart was running. He had so much fun on parties with Brenda.

That is so beautiful Their dynamic was constantly loving, no matter how many years past. I never saw Luke look more comfortable than when he and Jason embraced each other.
