A Season 1 re-watch has really re-kindled my D/B love. Dylan was really happy back then. He seemed so much more burdened and serious in Season 3, ironically around the time when they broke up.

YES YES YES!

I love this so much. It just showed from the start how Dylan finally felt part of something. I think that basis his happiness in the BEST BD seasons and then him feeling rejected by Jim...which in Season 3 he IS burdened again and then he gets some of it back with his friendship with breada in season 4. It really comes full circle. It's why he only opens up to the Walshes especially Brenda but Brandon too with the stuff with the FBI and with Jacks death. I also think it makes perfect sense he runs to Brenda in London after Toni dies. I don't know it just all comes together with this quote. And if you want to dive deeper, whatever happened with brenda in London...which makes him come back in season 9 shows real too because he is a complete MESS in season 9.The worst we ever see Dylan. Even worse than season 5 after Brenda doesn't return from London and Erica is gone. Dylan needed that support, he needed that family circle. He just didn't know who he was without it. Maybe too deep but thats why I love this couple so much. It was deep meanings like this...but also those moments like the scenes below.The raw emotional sexual charge they had.

They are the BEST!
