It was particularly interesting because we did not see them pining for each other before. Ok, we did in S2 after they broke up, but it was clear they would get back together and there was no real threat for their relationship. They got together quickly in S1 so there was no will they/won't they tension. The dynamic was the opposite of many couples and that made it interesting. Espcially because it was the couple we had many reasons to root for.
