It really makes no sense that Andrea and Steve weren't paired. Gabby and Ian had an easy, natural chemistry. They teased them in season 1 with the make out session. And while Andrea had a couple love interests, and her tease thing with Brandon, most of her romance was offscreen and Steve was single for almost all of the high school years.
It was a no brainer to pair them. Instead of Brandon "losing" Andrea to Jay, they could've done that story with Steve. |

This pairing would be fun. Instead of Herbert, Steve could've convinced Andrea to change his grades for him.

I agree Jaquen. I would have paired Steve and Andrea in S3 if Brandon and Andrea decided to stay friends and nothing else.

Yeah, that could be a possible scenario. Or Andrea could have lost her virginity to Steve in college or so, as a part of friends' deal. Then they could have decided they do not want to see anyone else.
