Appreciate it!

Currently sitting all chill, eating toast and watching some dog show.

Hi everyone

How is everyone here? How is the lockdown where you are? It has been difficult for me as I'm very outgoing but I guess it's great spending time with family and working from home.

Well at least we are on lockdown not Locked Up as Akon keep singing about

Oh Corona, we are locked up so please let us out

I'm not too bad, but my mum is sick (my dad's worried it's that, she doesn't think so ) and I'm spending another term tutoring my sister. It's very tiring and time consuming but she needs a lot of help and I'd never deny her of that

Has anyone seen a Korean show on Netflix called 'The King: Eternal Monarch'?

No, I haven't. I don't think I've seen a Korean show in a while. Do you know if it's good?

Meanwhile, I just found out that Single Parents is cancelled. I hate it when a show I likes ends on a cliffhanger.

I've been watching it with my family and have such mixed feelings on it

Visually, it's impressive. Also, the villain is convincing and the second lead actor is good at playing a dual role.

On the other hand, I'm not really invested in what they're selling as the central romance. The lead guy (Lee Min-Ho) is immediately enamored with some woman from an alternate reality (yes it's one of THOSE plots) just because he remembers that some version of her saved his life when he was a kid.

I don't know... It's a weird and very slow plot. Yet it's being very hyped up by people on social media.

Hey everyone
How are you Gwen, Rachel and everyone else?
I'm sorry I haven't come on here for months but I've been extremely busy during lockdown.
The only Korean stuff I know is K-Pop and Gangnam Style
The weather in London has been pretty good and yes we kept with the social distancing rules unlike some people.
I think we will be back at in early July although I've been working from home and doing more hours than I normally would.
I don't watch TV these days although I do keep up to date with news.
I've been kept up to date with my siblings in LA through social media and so on

I spent two long weeks throwing things out, which included skimming through some books, tapes, and discs I hadn't touched in years.

I don't think I'll ever collect a lot of physical media again. If it's worth re-watching or rereading, I'll just try to use a device.

Hi James

I was going through my vinyl collection and started to play them on my record player (yes, I still have one and it is in very good condition). I was playing some old 70s R&B Disco from Chic, Earth Wind & Fire, Candi Staton, Donna Summer, Sister Sledge, Vicki Sue Robinson and so on - good vibes.

Mike the music man. It's nice that you still have a record player. I still have my Super Nintendo from the '90s, which barely worked last time I tried hooking it up, though the games are available via emulators now, so there's little point in keeping the physical stuff when I have computer access. I know I'll have to get rid of it and some other gaming systems when I move.

I had ten trash bags full of old relics last night. It can be hard letting go of things, but, ultimately, you have to tell yourself that they're just things.
