Obviously I'm a newbie here so I'd love to see what kinds of interesting "Did you know that...." facts that some of you hardcore fans may know. For example, Did you know that in real life Dylans house is only three house away from the Walsh house? Or that Kellys. rapist (Joe Patch)appeared in multiple episodes prior to that including a random photographer? Or that rich boy Stuart Carsen appeared in an earlier episode as a hotel worker(Tom)? I'm sure these are common knowledge to the average person with let's say 50K posts or so so someone wow me with something new?

In the episode where Steves father shows him his birth certificate, his adoptive mother is listed as Iris Sanders. Steves adoptive mother is obviously Samantha Sanders. Iris is Dylans mothers name.

I didn't know most of the twin facts, good stuff. In a forum of such HUGE fans I'm sure most of the little things I know are last decades news. I'm glad I could surprise some of you with the birth certificate mix up. How many of you ran to the DVDs to see it for yourself? Id love to find a real "insider" who could tell all the behind the scenes goods. For ex, where's Brandons mustang these days? Who owned it back then...stuff like that. Anyways thanks for the replies...I'll let this thread fade off into the sunset....

Both Andrea and Val mention having siblings who later disappear or are never heard about again - Andrea's sister from S2 and Valerie's younger bro and sis (S5).

The actress who played Melissa, the teenage mom who goes out with Brandon in S1 "One Man and a Baby" originally auditioned for the role of Brenda.

Christine Belford, who played Steve's mom Samantha Sanders, and Nicholas Pryor, who played Clare's father Chancellor Arnold, are married in real life. Their characters also briefly dated in Season 7.

Cindy Walsh went back to school in S4 to get her masters at CU in counseling psychology much like her real-life counterpart, Carol Potter, who is a licensed family therapist.

Alyssa Milano was among the actresses considered for the role of Valerie Malone.
