I knew the song but I couldn't figure where. I got the album which features this song but when you have soooo many R+B and HipHop albums your mind goes totally blank.

I've got this album by UNV "Something's Going On" in 1993 - damn good album. They are similar to R+B New Jack Swing groups like Men At Large and POV.

UNV Thang is a damn good NJS track.

My problem is having such a huge collection of R+B, HipHop and Motown stuff at home, hearing and knowing the song but can't locate where or which artist it is can drive me insane. It is frustrating for me because when I know I got the song at home somewhere yet can't locate it.

UNV are a damn good R+B NJS group and would recommend people to listen to some of their songs if you like New Jack Swing. :)

New Jack Swing along with Motown were my favorite R+B eras

I've noticed the song list in season 4 apparently played a song I know very well in 2 episodes but never really remembered it being played at all. Anyway the song is by one of my favorite R&B artist from the early 90s named Tevin Campbell.
