Well I marathoned all of it in one day so it seemed a bit weird, like everyone was hopping into bed with everyone way too soon!

I really didn't mind though.

BTW, what do you think of Skins s3? I have to say, I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it. Lemme know your thoughts.

I didn't really love Skins s3 either... Naomi/Emily are great and Pandora is hilarious, but I didn't really care for any of the characters.

It was entertaining but nothign compared to the first two, and the love triangle bored me.

yeah i also didn´t care much about that triangle either

But Emily is gorgeous and I´d love some Effy/Emily (saw a great fanvid there) and I loved Emily/JJ as well

The current cast doesn't even hold a candle to the original. Plus, I felt the show lost a bit of it's buzzworthy risqueness. It almost felt like watching a network show, almost.

S2 comes out on DVD in the US this week

Can't wait to rewatch. Getting it Thursday!

I also disliked the lack of actual drama... It all became about "who slept with whom this week".

It made me care less about everyone.

Last year, everyone had a huge storyline.

BTW - wasn't Katie & Freddie like the most random hook-up?!

I hope s4 is like how s2 of Skins was, more deep and involved... and more open to just the character's personal struggles and less about the under-developed relationships.

Yes! And Emily/JJ for that matter. And JJ suddenly realizing he's in love with Effy TOO.

It felt like Gossip Girl s2.

I have to ask, but what was your overall opinion of Cook?

I mostly liked him but I thought they overdid it at times... He had lots of potential but they sort of forced him down our throats and never really gave him any deeper storyline, except for the father bit in the finale but that was weird.

He reminds me a lot of Chris who acted very similarly but at least he always had a dramatic storyline to back it up. Most of the time it seemed like Cook was acting out for no particular reason.

I thought Cook was an unfiltered/underdeveloped hybrid of Chris & Tony.

And I loved Pandora, until they showed she was still hooking up with Cook

Not cool, man! Poor Effy, although she was very out of sorts the whole season. But, I have to say - when she hit Katie over the head with the rock - I clapped.

And I think that's because I just didn't like Katie.

Well, except for Emily 'cause she's awesome. And yes, Pandora randomly hooking up with Cook was somewhat out of place, but she still cracks me up.
