I thought it was very interesting to watch the scene with Nora, Kitty and William in the kitchen whens he first arrive. He got a phone call from Holly, but at the time we didn't know it was her.

Also, knowing everything that we do now, this episode made me see William in a different light. Before I didn't think that he was a bad guy, but he was hiding so much from his family that it's hard to think of him in a positive light.

It wasn't like he had fallen into problems and the relationship Holly and knowledged that he was wrong. He was really planning and working hard to keep everything a secret from his family

The Nora/Kitty scenes were so cold. Those two have come full circle!

Yes. I had forgot how distant she was from Kitty, especially when Kitty said something about how it wasn't about the war, Nora just couldn't love her

Well, I remember enjoying the pilot but not loving it. I mean, you could the tell show was reshot. So it made too hard to watch. So when I rewatched it yesterday, I felt the same way. My favorite scene is the one with all the siblings in the kitchen. Its amazing how much chemistry this cast had right away. I also felt for a pilot there was too many storylines. Luckily, they toned it down in the next few episodes.

I also liked the scene in the kitchen. They got right into showing that the bond between the siblings was not just family, but friendship too

I liked the pilot more the second time around. It's still not my favorite, though. I think it was better after already having a grasp on the characters and who they are. I think the problem is there was so many characters to introduce that it got to be too much.

I didn't realize that Tommy was conservative, too. I thought it was just Kitty and the dad.

I think I knew that at first, but I sort of forgot it because they only mainly focus on the views of Kevin and Kitty...

Great idea for a thread. It will be fun to discuss all of the eps this summer.

I just watched Mistakes Were Made (Part 1) again and I noticed a bunch of new (or maybe forgotten) things. Which I'll save for the discussion of that episode
