Possible Board Closure - Please Read and Respond
 

Hi everyone. For quite some time now the traffic on this message board has been very low, and this board barely makes the minimum required number of posts to remain here. More importantly, this board doesn’t have a permanent moderator, and the last two times we posted a Moderator Opening Announcement here, no one applied for the position.

Therefore we’d like to know if there’s a real interest in keeping this board open, or if it might be time to close this board down. Please post your thoughts here. Thank you.

I'm only the temp mod here and I'll stay here as long as needed and as long as the posters want me to, I'd hate to lose the board as long as we have posters who enjoy posting here so ... lets see what they have to say ;)

I honestly just post here because a few of my friends post here and it's my way of communicating with them and I post to keep this board going for the other people who post here. It doesn't really matter for me if it gets closed, but I can imagine that the other posters would care. :nod:

Lucy resigned in September. That prompted the Mod Opening Announcement with the deadline extended to September 30th and no applications. :)

Awww right :nod: I'd thought there was another mod who had stepped down :oops:

I'm sad to see this come! We've been trying really hard over the past year to keep the traffic flowing but for some reason we just can't keep it up. I know that with the new single and album coming out within the next couple of months that if there was a time for the board to become busy again, it would be soon.

Wow, judging by the response to this thread, it looks like it's inevitable :( I'd hate to see the board close this close to getting a new single/album though :(

So upsetting. :( Some things are just unpreventable. The Fray are still very much loved!

Since hardly anyone has responded to this topic except for the Moderator Support Team Member that has been assigned to this board and the former moderator of this board, it's obvious that there's no interest in keeping this board open, so I'm going to close this board down tomorrow.

That's such a shame :( I wish we could have kept the board, it's sad to see it go :(

You'll still be able to discuss the band at the general Music board. :)
