I watched a part if it last week and then my dvd started acting really weird and I had too turn it off because I almost couldn´t see anything anymore

My DVD has been doing the same to me.

I took him to cleaning today, sth was wrong with the laser, I'm due to pick it in the next 3 days. I miss the good old days, everything was so much easier with the VHS. *old-fashioned*

Haha, I know! VHS didn't get scratches or anything. The only problem we did have to worry about was the VCR eating the tape but most of the time that was fixable

That sucks about your dvd though, I hope it works when you get it back.

Finally someone who agrees!

I usually get verbally slapped for saying that, to my bf and brother that is such a travesty to say.

I've never had any problems with VHS, except for the one you've mentioned (ate my How to lose a guy in 10 days tape

), but with a bit of imagination and a nice sharpie, that was fixed! The DVD can't have one little scratch and it already jumps over some parts.

Thanks! I sure hope so, considering I'm a movie freak, most of my b-day presents are DVD's, so if it won't work perfectly, I'll go crazy till my vacation time.

yeah, i had that problem too with my VHS tapes but they are always fixable. I like DVDs but sometimes I wish they were as fixable as VHS lol

It truly does, but then I get my satisfaction when a DVD isn't working.

Me too, and not so sensitive, a little fall and a scratch is there.

Me too, that's a pure classic, I have it on VHS (

) and rewatch it everytime I am in need for some loving, those two were perfect, the chemistry was fantastic. I was "in love" with Johnny for a loooong time.
