| I love this movie. Actually it became one of my favourites since I first watched it. It was fantastic see them both together again. But the best of the film was their acting with no doubt. It hasn't come to a theatre near me yet, so I'm on the lookout. I may not be able to see it before it's out on dvd, anyway.
I love talking about stuff like this because people always see things a little differently. Though I think they are both at fault, I thought that Frank was the bigger offender. In that scene, before April tried to abort the baby after she knew she couldn't where she was talking to him at the table and asked him about his work and he just started telling her I got the sense he'd been holding himself back from her, away from her. I also think by changing his mind about Paris without talking to her and reveling his plans in front of their friends just crushed her. April I think bought into a person Frank wanted to be but never actively tried to be, if that makes any sense.
