Leonardo DiCaprio - Leo Birthday Project! // November 11th: Happy Birthday Leo!!!

Welcome all Leo posters!

On behalf of myself and Miranda, we present you with a new project... the Leo birthday project!

As you may all know, Leo's birthday is coming up soon. It's November 11th, which is in a few weeks, and Cayce gave us the greatest idea!

A Leo birthday project. What we want to do is a scrapbook of some sort. The scrapbook can include but is not limited too: birthday cards, fan letters, fan pictures/art, article/magazine cutouts, etc. This is how we will do the project:

Everything will be made online, and sent to one person. We make cards, pictures, letters, etc through programs like photoshop, word, etc (whatever you have and can use). For anyone who doesn't have these programs or doesn't know how to use them, you can make it at home. Nothing is wrong, everything is accepted! This is your personal page for Leo. Whatever you want, make it any way you know how.

Each person can fill two pages, three if absolutely needed. These pages should be the size of regular printer paper. You can make everything on the computer, put it all into one page and send it. People who are making things by hand can make your pages, scan them to your computer, and then send it. Please send them as soon as possible, and don't wait til the last minute.

One person will get a real life scrapbook, and will collect everyones pages that people have sent to them. Once the due date is reached, this person will print the pages and paste them into the scrapbook. We're short on time, so this person can make a cute cover if they choose too, or something as simple as "Happy Birthday Leo!".

Then the person who finishes the scrapbook will send the scrapbook to Leo! If this person could pretty please take pictures of the finished product that would be great. This person can post the scrapbook, and everyone else can post their pages to Leo in the thread, after we finish.

Due Dates:

Send pages by: Thursday, November 1st
Creator send to Leo by: Wednesday, November 7th

Note: This project is for everyone! Whether you have 10 posts or 1000 posts on this board, you can participate in this project! The only requirment is that you will actually participate and you love Leo and want to show him some love on his birthday! =]

This sounds fun and Option 1 is better. The Zac Efron board is doing it too. I recommend not to use Option 3 because The Zac Efron did it and they lost the birthday card so best not to use Option 3. I recommend Option 1 or 2.

Aww they're doing it at the Zac Efron board? That's cool. Not good that it was lost though. That is true though. And it's very, very time consuming because mailing can take so long when it goes to one person at a time.

I totally agree, I'm all for option one or two also. I really like option two, props to Miranda, it was her idea.

I like option 2 because that way we can like hand write stuff. HWat kind of stuff would we send? and Option 1 kind of limits the things we can do. but there all good options i like 2 the best.

actually option 1 was my idea Cass

I think don't think option 2 is gonna work either cause it will take ages to sent things and it cost a lot of money cause I live in Holland and if I have to sent anything to America or wherever it is gonna cost me a lot of money so I still think that option 1 is the best

but we want everybody to speak their minds so Cass and I can make an honest and good decision

Same here Adie!

One would be alot more convienent and easier... but a real, birthday scrapbook to send to him would be so much cuter. I was already thinking of what I would put in it: a card with a personal letter from me to Leo, some small pictures/articles over the years put in to show how much he's grown into the old man he is.

Just kidding about the old man.

How about this, we do both. For some of us who do have programs like photoshop etc. CoughMirandaCough they do their pages online and they print it out. Then for those who don't have those programs just make your pages at home and send it to someone near you who can put the book together.

I know the mailing stuff is hard but we can try right? Even though it will take forever. Hey it's for Leo. It's worth it.
